The gates opened at noon, classic car exhibition by Rockstar Cars, café racers on display for those petrol head enthusiasts. A mini Monster skateboard ramp with demos through out the day by skateboard and BMX experts. Axe Throwing proves to be quite a skill Just Like Papa was there for you to try it. Some enjoyed a game of 9 pin bowling in the oldest alley in South Africa, book you’re time slot, its quite an experience! The food trucks were the biggest burger by the NOB, the best hot dog by Baguette Bicycle, Ardi’s have the vegan option of falafel, The Jack Daniel’s Bar, fully stocked and craft beers through out the day in the Main Area. Indoors were the vendors. Anvl Kraft doing metal shaping, Dan Fuller Jewellery and Decades of Vintage for some attire. Have your T-shirt printed by I love Screenprints in minutes. Get a tattoo from Mr Lucky Tattoo and Barnet Fair barbers to groom the gents. SCAR gave the gals a quick 50’s up style while MAC did a red lip and “cat eye”. There were demo presentation by both MAC and SCAR during the day. For the first time ever we hosted a Burlesque Peepshow, just like in the old carnival cirque days. Black Orchid Burlesque SA were excited for this special little sideshow event at the festival, as it opens up yet another wonderful platform for the local burlesque community to strut, shimmy and shake to fans, new and old. The Miss Bombshell Betty 2017 Pin-up pageant followed by the bands Unit 11, Lonesome Dave, The Ratrod Cats and Them Tornados. Rockabilly Rhythmn from JHB will be our DJ for the day.
